Are the Rock Band Wii Guitars Compatible with Guitar Hero Van Halen?
Notice how carefully they word the Q&A. GHVH is "compatible with Guitar Hero drums only". But "Rock Band Wii Guitars are not supported."
So does this mean that the Rock Band drums simply don't work (likely considering that GHVH is based off the older, pre-GH5 Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero Metallica engine)? And that the Rock Band Wii Guitar DOES work, but is simply not "supported" by Activision Customer Support?

I think for guitar, all Guitar Hero controllers and some third party controllers (ezJam, Rock Thunder, etc.) and no third party drums are compatible.
I am running into an issue where the + button does not function in the Quick Play, Cheats, Playlist menus. Anytime the game requires me to use the + button to continue in GH Van Halen or GH Aerosmith I get completely stuck. The Aerosmith game will at least let me turn on a second Wii remote and continue using the + button from the second remote. The Van Halen game won't let me do that and I have to unplug the remote from the guitar. This is the brown /white GH guitar that was included with Band Hero. The same behavior happens with the Warriors of Rock guitar. It doesn't matter whether I use a Wii brand remote in it or an Intec remote. I'd love to play Quickplay so I can learn these songs a little better before hitting career mode. It's very frustrating.
Any ideas on this issues?
